Award Winning Instructor Paul  Coombe, owner/operator of the Fergus-Elora Driving School  is passionate about excellent driving. That's evident in the success rate of his students. Over 95% of his students pass their road test on the first try.

One of the reasons for the success of the program is the one-on-one-in-car instruction owner Paul Coombe and his other instructor Shahnam, give every student. They've earned their reputation as not only the best trained and most experienced instructors, which translates into superior results for their students, but also the most patient and caring instuctors for new drivers who need that type of appoach in order to gain confidence on the road.

Another reason is Paul 's extensive education and experience. Off road, along with his Honours Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto, Paul has sucessfully completed many other courses in order to upgrade his teaching skills, including a certificate program from George Brown College in teaching and training adults.  On road, he has 16 years experience with the Fergus-Elora Driving School and he has several years experince driving buses and trucks around  Toronto and the rest of Ontario for Gary Coach Lines and the Toronto Transit Commission. This experience, according to an auditor from the Ontario Safety League, has made him a superior teacher.
